Assists physicians with various aspects of patient care including clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks, ensuring patient satisfaction, checking schedules and organizing patient flow, answering calls, EKG's

Read and watch cardiac monitoring for patients, notifying the nursing staff of changes in patient ECG rhythms. Cardiac monitor reading and watching. Interpret cardiac rhythms. Document rhythms each shift and PRN changes. Notify nursing staff of changes. Answer telephones and deliver messages. Fax information to other facilities. Interact with families and visitors. Answer pages, coordinate transfers, and assist with discharges. Copy Medexes. Maintain patient log. Tear down discharge charts. Assist with other transcription. Order supplies.

Administers emergency and routine medical treatment to battle and non-battle casualties, assists with outpatient care and treatment and supervises field and clinical medical facilities under the supervision of a physician, nurse or physician's assistant. Train and supervise 6 soldiers. Additonal duties include training of over 75 new soldiers.

Deployed to Iraq 2005. Ran combat clinical operations and healthcare procedures for a task force of 1200 soldiers.
